The Right Turn’s Medical Transcription training program is designed to provide quality home-based employment to residents and non-residents of South Dakota. This is an approximate 12-month self-paced at home study program. This course was developed by The Right Turn, Inc. Career Learning Center with curriculum support, student support, and technical support from Career Step, Springville, Utah. This program is designed to increase training, employment, and economic opportunities available to individuals through distance learning. It has been designed to meet the competency profile of the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT) in providing the basic skills necessary to become a beginning medical transcriptionist.
